Our school goes on lots of excursion. Sometimes we walk but mostly we hire a bus. This Year (1988) we have been to The Olympic Site, Government House, The Sydney Museum, Community and Roads Safety, Museum, Maritime Museum, Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery and soon we're going to the Rocks.
Our class studies plants which grow in our area. We go on walking excursions to find out about Rainforest plants and how they grow. We have rainforest and a waterfall behind our school. Our excursions are very interesting.
Later this year we are also going overnight to Hill End, an old Gold Rush area and a three day trip to Canberra and the Snow.
In the last term Year 6 go on weekly excursions to places like Parliament
House to learn about Government, Dee Why Headland to look at the environment
and other places of interest.
