The New South Wales Parliament is elected by the people of NSW to run and manage the government and its services for them. Each year the government sets out its budget for how many is to be raised and spent.

The NSW Government receives income from the Federal Government as grants, has some taxes, charges people and businesses for services it provides and can apply for loans.

The NSW Government works with The Federal and Local Governments to provide services to all  people in NSW.
The NSW Government only looks after issues concerning the people of NSW. People's needs can vary depending upon where they live, their age or their desires.
