our Project

Display in the Foyer.

In Term 4, Year 6 went on an excursion to the NSW Parliament House in
Sydney to meet our Local Member of Parliament, Mr Brad Hazzard. Brad
spoke to us about NSW Parliament and what they do there.
We toured most
parts of the building, did a role play in the Legislative Assembly,
asked questions and took lots of photographs. He gave each of
us an information booklets which we studied back at school.
Back at school we went into pairs of two and studied a subject which we
chose. We searched the Internet and used the booklet for information
for our
project. We then typed up the information on the classroom computers.
Members of the Student Research Team
did the final layout and added the pictures for our school website.
