Brookvale Public School

It was a stormy night on Friday the 13th. My friends and I was walking along the way until one of my friends started teasing me and saying that I was scared of heights and other things. I told them that I wasn't but they said then prove it so I did. I told them that I'd go into the spooky old house that was on Haunted Road.

They didn't believe me but I told them they can come and see me. They started to run away because they said they saw a ghost but I didn't believe them. They had told me before that whoever went in never came back out. I pushed the door open, it made a creaky sound, I kept walking until I came up to this room.

On the door there was a piece of paper saying ‘Do Not Enter‘ but something was saying in my head go inside so I did. I walked in but I couldn't see, I kept on walking until I bumped into something. I started to shout and run heading towards the door but when I tried to open the door, it wouldn't open. I was so scared I started to cry.

I went back step by step until I got to the stairs. I started climbing up the stairs, they were very old but I didn't care I just wanted to find my way out.

When I got to the top of the stairs there was a little light shining. I walked towards it then suddenly it went off. That time I felt I wasn't going to make it back to my parents but I kept on walking. I still couldn't see anything.

There was a door I opened it and went through suddenly....... the lights came on and I could see everything in the room. I kept walking until I stood on something, I picked it up. It was piece of paper it said ‘there's only one way out through the last door on one of the sides.‘

A phone started to ring so I looked for it but I couldn't find it. The phone stopped ringing but a few minutes later the phone started ring again. That time I was even more scared so I started to look for it again finally.

I found it. It was underneath a blanket. I picked the phone up. It was a man‘s voice. It said "Leave! Leave my house at once. I dropped the phone and started looking for the door until I got angry and threw something. It hit something and fell back down then I heard a voice say "get out NOW!"

I quickly ran to see if it was the door and it was. I ran all the way home and told my mum and dad all about it. A few weeks later I went back to the Haunted House and I found a treasure chest. Yes! I was rich!

It was late and mum and dad hadn't come home yet. Emily was getting worried, but just then I heard the car roll in. So I went outside to help carry the shopping but when I went outside both of them were STABBED! Ahh!

It didn't stop there at the exact same time the door slammed SHUT! LIGHTNING FLASHED! THUNDER CLASHED! I was pouring out with tears and then to my extent of bad luck, my house was on FIRE!

I ran to the nearest public phone and rang the fire department, the ambulance, the police, and then I did a reverse charge call to my Grandmother. She didn't pick up so I tried again three more times. On the third time she picked up the phone but she wasn't talking she was held hostage. I had to hang up because the other people had arrived.

The fireman took days to put out a two story house, the ambulance took mum and dad to the hospital but they died, it was so sad. The police looked for finger prints.

I told the police where my grandmother lived so the police went over to her house. Then Seargant Christy and Detective St Clair said to wait for them to come out. So they waited for one day two nights, but after that they BARGED down the door grabbed their guns and pointed them at the criminals.

After they arrested the criminals they made us go to a new country and gave us a new identity. This is a true story it happened to a friend of a friend of mine.

On a bright and sunny day I woke up after a good nights sleep and ate my breakfast. Just then I heard voices whispering and saying go get the mail. I found a few letters and bills but I also found a package so I took it in to open.

Guess what I found inside, two hands of a real person. I opened my mouth to scream but I was too scared. Then I remembered it was April Fools Day and made a nervous laugh.

Two hours later I heard the same voices telling me to go and get the mail again. So this time, scared and shaking I went out and got the package. This time it had two eyeballs in it.

I Decided that I should call one of my friends just to make sure. I called Kelly because she was most likely to play a trick like that but she swore it wasn't her, she said that it could be Mary. I called Mary she said she never knew anything about it.

About one and a half hours later more whispering voices came and I went out to see what was in the next. The next box had two feet in it so this time I went to my room packed my bags to go to stay in a hotel.

Just before I left the voices said "stay here, we won't do anything bad." I decided to stay but I was never seen again. If I was never seen again who told you this story?

On Friday 13th, the Easter Bunny came to my house to give me chocolate but instead it sat on my couch and ate my chocolate.

When I walked out I saw the Easter Bunny sitting on my couch. It hurt my feelings when it went to our fridge, I got ssssssoooooo scared so that I ran back to bed.

That night I had a nightmare and it was scary! It was about when I was dead in the grave and all the other dead people came out of the grave and I was still alive. They dug me out and ate me and then gave my bones to the rats and mice.

Then I woke up and the Easter Bunny was there asleep on the couch. He had some chocolates in his bag so I went into my room and ate his chocolates.

He woke up and came into my room and tried to attack me but I turned into a super hero and got away.

It was Friday the 13th of April, it was the start of another boring school day. Monica woke up and stood up out of bed but when she stood up she trod on about twenty cockroaches. She didn't know why.

She crept downstairs to get her breakfast, she sat down, got out the cereal box and she realised when she looked at the clock it was only 4:00a.m. The shower had woken her up, she ran upstairs to the shower and she saw the most horrible thing "AHHH!!" bellowed Monica. It was her mother's head on a skeleton.

Her father came running "AHHH! what's happening!" screamed Monica. Her father was a black cat with his head. She didn't even dare look at her twin brother.

She just ran straight to her grandma's house but along the way, Monica found the Easter Bunny lying flat on the ground, dead meat, next to it was his basket of Easter Eggs.

She knew that they had to be delivered, so she picked up the basket and kept on running as quickly as she could run, straight to her grandma's house. The Easter Eggs flew out everywhere, but she just kept on running.

She started hearing spooky sounds so she stopped and turned around, the Easter Eggs had grown legs, arms and mouths "Tang!" (which means stop in egg language) screeched the eggs.

Monica started running even faster then before, the Easter Eggs went chasing after her, she finally reached her grandma's house. When she went inside she realised her grandma was a witch.

Behind the witch was something else wearing a hat that said Spooky Friday. Guess who it was? It was Monica's twin brother laughing his head off so it was him the whole time. The cockroaches were plastic joined onto string, he put the clock four hours back, he got his skeleton and put a picture of their mum on it, he got the neighbours cat and made a mask with an old picture of their dad on it and a tape recorder hiding behind the door, he put his bunny toy in the woods with his Easter Eggs in the washing basket, and he dressed his grandma up as a witch.

"Just wait until next time," thought Monica.

"Remember Monica it's Friday the 13th." explained Monica's twin brother.

It was dark and scary. I was coming home from the movies after school. As I was walking the lights started to all turn off and everything was pitched dark.

Everything was quiet till noises came from somewhere which sounded like someone playing the organ. It was really scary. So I thought that the noise would lead me home. But it didn't, the music leads me to trouble.

I fell into a hole and found nowhere out but a note saying "when I was here I could never find the way out!" I began to shiver and shake. While I was walking I noticed that the music had stopped but then it came back again but this time it went louder and it got louder and louder and louder until I was getting closer to the music.

I discovered that I was walking past dead bodies. I saw a little passageway and there stood was a man playing the organ he turned and looked at. He had a black hood on and his face as red as blood with no eyes. The man said to me "you must be Lani!"

I just said nothing but walked away. I finally found the way out and I ran home as fast as I could. When I got home no one was there so I decided to go to the place. There standing was a lady with a face white and pale and red as blood lipstick and with white clothes on.
 

She hit me with a piece of wood and I fell to the ground and when I woke up and found the lady still there. I noticed that she was going to hit me again but lucky I ran away but I felt dizzy and I fell to the ground.

When I woke up l found out that there was are great big light and the colour of the light was all the rainbow colours. I thought that if I had followed the light it will lead me to safety. Suddenly I remembered the other stuff I had to follow lead me to danger.

So I did not follow it at all. After a while I saw the light disappear and then there was no light at all it was just pitch dark. I tried lots of stuff to make me not scared any more but it just didn't work out.

Then the vampire returned and said to me ''WHAT IS YOUR NAME,'' and I just said nothing. Then he said "You must be Lani.''

What he said had made me even more scared so I just tried to ignore the vampire but the words he was saying was just too loud like you could hear it from China. So I just had to run away and then I fell to the ground and when I looked up

It was the night of Friday 13th and it was pouring with rain. THUNDER crashed and the door SLAMMED closed and the whole house shook, Mitch was so scared.

He shouted "AH! AH! AH! HELP! HELP! HELP!" but nobody answered. Mitch was so scared that he couldn't even move.

Out of no where a vampire came through the door, it was running around the whole house and the vampire caught Mitch. Suddenly the F.B.I. walked in and said "Hello, anybody home?"

Mitchell answered " Yes I am on the top floor, HELP."

The F.B.I. guys fainted as soon as they saw the vampire. One didn't faint so he called the ambulance and the police department. They came down as fast as they could and as soon as they got there they went inside and got the F.B.I. guys and Mitch from the vampire.

Mitch was safe and then his parents got home, he was alright but the F.B.I. guys were still in hospital but they O.K
