On the 26th of August 3/4S went to the Zoo. The first thing we did was go on the Koala Walk-about, we saw three koalas in the trees.

Then we went to go see the giraffes and zebras, then we saw the monkeys, gorillas and the chimpanzees.

Next we went to Serpenteria were the cold blooded animals live such as the Kamono Dragon, alligators, cane toads and snakes.

Then we saw an orang-utan, there was only one because they're nearly extinct. After that we went to the Education Centre, we saw different animals like kangaroos and koalas. We saw fur from other animals that had died.

We had a good time at the zoo.

On the 26th of August 2003, Years 3 and 4 went to the Zoo.

When we got to the Zoo we went to the Education Centre and had a lesson on reptiles. After a good lesson we went and had little lunch. Then we went and walked around the zoo and looking at the different kind of animals.

After looking around there was three kids from 2/3D who got to see the orang-utans, they nearly got lost in the Zoo and they had to stay with Miss Sherman until lunch.

After lunch we had a search for Yaso's camera and we found it in the garbage bin near the Koala house. After having a good search we went around for the last time and then we left back to school.

We had a good time!
