On Wednesday November 26th, Year 6 went to the Streamwatch Awards at the Imax Theatre. There were a lot of schools and it was Scary at the the Imax theatre but we were very happy that our school won two Awards.

After the awards were presented we watched a movie about "BUGS." The movie was good  but Aarti and I fell asleep. It was huge day and  the whole Class enjoyed it a lot.

Alison and David told us that we were the best school.

On 26th of November, our class 6T went to the Streamwatch Awards Ceremony and watched a movie ‘Bugs‘ at Imax at Darling Harbour.

There were about 450 people there, and also there were lots of awards to give away, such as Dolphin Award and Outstanding Streamwatch Educator Award. The people represent different schools.

When a school got an award, two students need to come out, get the award and take a photo with the person who gave them the award. The awards were given away by special people, such as the Minister of Education.

Our school got two awards - a Dolphin Award for the work we've done about environment in Brookvale. Our school is the first primary school who got the Dolphin Award. The second award was the Creative Award for the work we've done about environment on our school website. It is the first year they gave it away and we got it. We cheered after we got the two awards.

After that, we watched a 3D movie ‘Bugs‘. When we were watching it, it was like bugs were all around us. It talked about how do grubs become butterflies, how do insects "hunt", and how do they eat and so on.

We got a free lunch, and learnt a lot about bugs.

On Wednesday the 26th of November Year Six went to Sydney Harbour to the Imax Theatre for an award ceremony for Streamwatch.

As we got there we had recess and then we went inside for the ceremony. We got two awards, one was the Dolphin Award and the Creative Award. Emma and Rodney went to recieve the Dolphin Award and Gabriella and Stefan went to recieve the Creative Award.

After that we watched a 3D movie called Bugs in 3D. The movie took about 40 minutes, after the movie we went down to Level 2 to get our lunch. Then we got in the lift to go up to Level 6 to get our photo taken.

We finished our lunch outside on the steps of Darling Harbour then we left to go back to school on a bus.
