About to have
lunch
By Bridget.
On Thursday at Dee Why Reserve we had our School Picnic . I went for a
swim and at first when I got in it was cold and when Ms Guina blew her
whistle
we had to get out and go back to the grass. We had three swims and the
water was cold for each one.
My sisters and I got hot chips and ice cream.
It was a fun day.

We all can't
wait to get in the pool!!

On the Thursday the 18th of December Brookvale P.S went to Dee Why
Beech for a School Picnic. When we got there we got ready to go for our
first swim,
that was really good because we were very hot and we needed to have a
swim,
and when we jumped in it felt SOOOOOOOOO good.
We went for three swims and each time we went it felt even better. The
second time we went Ano and I were wrestling in the water. Ano
obviously won,
because he's a lot bigger than me and could snap me in two. The last
time we
went I was just swimming around.
It was a good day, it was really cool.

On the 19th December, Brookvale
Public School went down to Dee Why Beach for the annual school picnic.
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were the first
ones there. While we were waiting we played cricket and footy. When the
infants people arrived then the primary people went down to the pool for half an hour.
Then the infants went down. We each had three trips down to
the pool, the pool was quite cold but we got
used to it.
When we got back to school the
Year 6's had a water fight, Boys vs. Girls. We had hoses, water bombs and
water guns. The boys won but it was brutal. Blood everywhere, water in mouths, eyes
and faces: it was terrible! (Just joking).
It was a day to
remember.
