On Wednesday, the 1st of August we had our first Peer Support time of the year. There are 18 Peer Support groups altogether. We have Peer Support for one reason, it's because you can make friendship with other kids.

At 12:00 Years 5&6 go down to the I.T. Centre and Mr Taylor gives us sheets for the lesson & the co-leaders have to get a few things before we go to Peer Support.

At 12:30pm we go to Peer Support and you do activities in different classrooms around the school. Mr Taylor gives a sheet with activities to the leaders, also he gives the leaders some stickers for the lesson. If the kids are good in Peer Support they will get a sticker.

At the end of the lesson if there is still some spare time you might be able to play a game. When the bell rings at 1:00pm Years 5&6 go to the I.T. Centre and they tell Mr Taylor what the kids in the group did.

Every Wednesday the whole school gets into groups of 9-10 children and do Peer Support.

At 12.00 noon, Years 5 and 6 go to the I.T. Centre to get all the activities for the group. We are the Leaders and Co-leaders.

Mr Taylor tells the group leaders what the activity is. We go to the room and start by telling the children the group rules.

We teach them to be friends and how to co-operate and play games. We learn leadership and organizational skills. Before the group leave for lunch the leader gives them one sticker for good work.

Then we go back to the I.T. Centre for a feedback. My favourite thing about Peer Support is the games.

Every Wednesday for half an hour our school does Peer Support.

In Peer Support we get groups of 9 children from different classes. We get a group number and a classroom to meet. Then we get a folder for the group and we get a few things to use. We read instructions to our group and they do the activities. After Peer Support we have a feedback to say how our group went.

Peer Support helps us learn to co-operate and make new friends.
