On Friday the 11th of May, there was a Mother's Day Stall at the school hall. The children that brought in a gift got to get first pick. The presents were $3 each but if you only had $2 they'd find you a present that was worth $2.
The people running the stall was the P & C. P & C. stands for Parents and Citizen. The P & C helps raise money for the schools excursion, classroom equipment and more.
Year 6 got to go to the hall and pick first then it worked it went all the way down to Kindy. Some of the gifts were soap, candles, shampoo, creams and more. The presents were really good.
Most of the children brought several presents because they had a lot of money and some of the children brought in a lot of gifts. The people that didn't bring in a present got to pick a present after everyone else picked their present.
At the end, the total amount of the money that was raised was $483. It was a really fun, and for our Mums too.

On the 11th of May, our school had a Mother's Day Stall where children from our school brought things from home. Mums organized and wrapped the gifts to sell the other children in our school. The good prices were 3 dollars and some were 2 dollars.
People who brought the things got to go there first to pick their Mother's Day gift. The rest bought their Mother's Day gift after. There were soaps, shampoo, lotions, plates, creams and other things.
The P and C raise money for our excursions, swimming lessons, school equipment and other things so the money comes back to us.
There was a lot of mother's day gifts for everyone. It was a very good idea to have a Mother's Day Stall so kids won't have to go to the shops which might be more expensive.

On the 12th of May, the whole school went to a Mother's Day Stall which is run by the P&C.
Almost everybody donated presents and bought other donated gifts. The price was $3 for each one. There was all sorts of things, face masks, shampoo, body and hair gel with a strawberry scent, and even ornaments.
I didn't get to buy anything at the Mother's Day Stall but I bought something else with my $2 on the way home. Everybody else bought one and gave it to their mothers.
It was a great day, the school made $483 and everybody got just a little bit of time off work.
