On the 3rd of July, our school had a Special Lunch Day, it was organised by 5/6T for the fund raising for the trip to Canberra and the Snowy Mountains. Each child had to pay $3.50 for the day and each Year 6 student had to provide a cake for morning tea.

For recess, each child got a piece of cake and a drink. We had hot-dog sandwiches and a drink for lunch. The dessert was a piece of fruit.

At the end of the day, Year 6 total raised $496.60 and the profit we made was $364.55.

All the children had a fantastic day and the food was very nice indeed!

On the 3rd of July, our school had a Special Lunch Day and it was also Mufti Day where we didn't need to wear a uniform. 5/6T helped organise it but the Year 6 ran it because we were fund raising for our trip to Canberra.

Each Year 6 student brought a cake and even some Year 5's. Each child had to pay $3.50.  For little lunch, we had a cake and a drink. The Year 6 got to eat as much cake as they liked after everyone had their cakes and drinks.

For lunch we had a hot-dogs and a drink. For dessert we had fruits. We also ate as much as we liked at lunch.

At the end of the day, Year 6's made $496.60 total but we had to pay the costs which was $150.05 so the profit we made was $364.55.

We had a fantastic and a fun, happy day.

On the 3rd of July, Brookvale Public School had a Special Lunch Day. Our class 5/6T, had to bring some cakes for recess. We had to prepare all the food for the other classes.

Our class had to collect the money from the other classes. We had to prepare food before recess because there was a lot of work to do. We had to carry tables, butter the bread and poor drinks.

We had cakes for recess and hot dogs for lunch. We had to serve the napkins and the cakes at recess. We had to take care of these silver bins because they were only for cups.

At lunch time we had to serve napkins, bread, hot-dogs and sauce but we did have vegetarian hot-dogs and a drink. When all the hot-dogs were eaten we served the fresh fruit.

The Special Lunch cost $3.50 and we made more than $350 for the Year six trip to Canberra.
