A Mufti Day means no uniform.
By Emma
On Tuesday the 13th of February our school had a Special Lunch Day to help raise money for our trip to Hill End.
A Special Lunch Day is when everyone in our class brings in a cake. We cut them up give the other kids in the school a piece of cake and a drink each.
For big lunch we get a sausage sandwich and a drink then some nice cool watermelon. We even have vegetarian sausages for those who can‘t eat meat.
And we get to were mufti too. We charge the kids $3.50 and made a profit of $370, this makes our trip to Hill End much cheaper.
Heaps of drinks.

On Tuesday the 13th of Febuary 5/6T organised a Special Lunch Day to raise money for an excursion to Hill End.
In class we collected the money, hand out the change and sorted the money for banking. In our books we used calculators to work out our costs and profit, we de $370.00.
The best part of the day was getting to serve the food.
Meet the chef.
