On Friday the 3rd of August Kim Gamble a famous children's book illustrator came to our school. First of all he asked us some questions.

Then he read us a book and asked us what kind of picture would be good for a certain part of the story. Then we told him some of our ideas and he started to draw them and as he was drawing he asked the teacher to pick a person to ask him a question.

Then with all of our ideas he created Tashi and the dragon talking together and the dragon falling into the water. It was so good! He painted Minton for the Kindy, Year One and Year Two kids.

Some of the books that he illustrated are Tashi and the Giants, Minton goes Trucking, Tashi and the Dancing Shoes, Minton goes flying and lots of other books.

And they are all so fantastic!!!!! It was a fun day.

On Tuesday the 3rd of August Kim Gamble came to Brookvale Public School. He talked about all the books he illustrated and how he became a illustrator.

He told what kind of equipment he uses and what kind of paints. He got a big piece of cardboard and he showed us how he draws a picture. The books he illustrated are The Tashi Series, The Magnificent Nose and Other Marvels, The Minton Series, The Hottest Boy Who Ever Lived, Ariel Zed and the Secret of Life.

He drew a picture of Tashi and a Dragon we all enjoyed it was fun watching and listening Kim Gamble.

It was a great time.

One Friday the 3rd of August an illustrator called Kim Gamble came to our school. He is a famous illustrator for lots of books like Come the Terrible Tiger, Minton Goes Under, Minton Goes Trucking, Minton Goes Home, The Hottest Boy Who Ever Lived, The Magnificent Nose and Other Marvels, etc.

First he asked us some questions then he started drawing for us, he said that he would draw a dragon with Tashi in the picture it looked really good. It was a picture of a dragon falling into a river with Tashi watching him. It was such a good picture at the end he signed some books and drew pictures for people.

After Recess he did a picture for the Infants, he did a picture of Minton underwater in a submarine with a big shark chasing him and lots of fish, starfish, sea horses etc.

On the 3rd of August Kim Gamble visited our school to talk a little bit about himself.

First he told us a little bit about himself and after that he talked about Anna Fienberg and how they got their ideas for Minton and his Adventures. Anna is a famous children's author.

After that he read Tashi and the Dragon, then he started to draw a picture based on the book. First he did the sky and then he did the hill with the lake in the between hills and then he started to draw Tashi.

He said to ask him some questions about himself so we did and after that he started to draw the dragon falling in the water.

All up, I would like him to come again next year.

First he told us a little about himself, after that he talked about Anna Fienberg, he has illustrated many of her books. They have a great relationship.

Kim read a book called Dragon Breath. He drew a great picture of a dragon falling off a piece of land.

If you didn't know who Kim Gamble is he illustrates Tashi, Minton and he illustrated The Hottest Boy Who Ever Lived. He is the maddest illustrator.
