On Tuesday on the 26th of June, a man called Dennis Murphy came to Brookvale and the whole school watched him doing an Italian Puppet play.

First, Dennis told us about the most common characters, and we learnt how many characters we remembered from the play. The main character was Arlecchino, who is a character from the north of Italy. Other characters included Pantalone the master, Arlecchino the servant, Brighella, a sneaky character and Capitano Spavento, the cowardly captain.

The play was about Arlecchino being hungry, he did lots of funny things like pretending to die and dressing up as the devil.

The play was really cool and quite funny, in the end Arlecchino got something to eat.

On Tuesday, June 26th, Dennis Murphy came to school and performed a puppet show.

The story was about Arlecchino, he was hungry because Pantalone didn't pay him. Pantalone remembered that he needs to pay money to Captain Spavento. He did not want to pay him.

He ordered Arlecchino to scare Captain Spavento away. Pantalone hid in his draw. Then Captain Spavento came and Arlecchino tried to scare him but he couldn't.

Finally Captain Spavento said Pantalone could keep that money. It was very funny.

On the 26th of June Brookvale Public School saw an Italian Puppet Show. A person called Dennis Murphy did the play and the play was a sequel of another play performed last year.

Dennis first introduced the characters with masks. Arlecchino was the name of the main character. He was a servant and he was hungry because his master who was called Pantalone wasn't paying him. They play was about Arlecchino trying to trick his master into paying him.

The play was funny and interesting and lots of puppets were used. My favourite part was when Arlecchino accidentally knocked out his master with a broom handle.

At the end Arlecchino got some food was payed some money. I liked the puppet show a lot.
