Food's great.

By Xin-Xin

Near the end of term 4, Year 6 students had a graduation lunch held in the school hall. There was a lot of food which was all generously supplied by the Year 5 students and their parents.

The food was delicious and after we had our lunch, Mr Richard made a couple of speeches about this year's Year 6. Each of the Year 6 students received a Brooky flag, the Year 6 Book (which was written by the Year 6 students) and a graduation certificate.

Mr Richard also received from us the Year 6 gift to the school which was a laminator and portable CD/tape player.

I would like to say thankyou to all the Year 5 students who has organised and supplied food for the graduation lunch and also to the Year 6 students for the contribution they have made to the school.

On 14th of December Year Six had their graduation lunch in the hall. Every year, Year Six are farewelled by having a special lunch organized by the Year Fives who also bring the food.

When we got to the hall we all sat down to listen to the speech that Joseph and Matilda made. After that we all got to eat and that was the good part.

After we were all full Mr Richard presented us with an award and made a little speech about all of us. Finally Mr Coruso showed us a slide show on the computer only about Year Sixes, most people started crying. Then we went out for little play and that was the end of the lunch.

A moving speech by Mr Richard.

First we walked into the hall and then we sat down at the tables and then we got up and got something to eat and then we sat down and ate it. Mr Richard made a speech and then he gave us our graduation certificate and a Year 6 Book it's to remember the people in your class.

Then Rosanna's dad made a presentation on the computer that showed all the years from kindy and it had circles around our faces.
