On Tuesday the 15th of February Annalisa, Monica and I were chosen to go to Extension Studies Centre. It is held at Balgowlah Boys High School, which is about ten minutes away from our school. It is a special group of kids from lots of different schools, chosen to do some extension work that we normally don't do at school. We go every Tuesday for the first two terms.

On the first week we played some games to get to know each other, and I found some great new friends. We also played a mystery game to try to find the murderer and Annalisa  found out who it was. It was really hard to  find the murderer but it was still fun.

The next week we did some interesting worksheets on the seven ways of knowing. We made up a land called Yum Yum Land, where everything was made of food.

On the third week we dissected a lamb‘s brain and it was groossssss!!!!
We drew lots of pictures of the brain and stacks of worksheets. There are lots of interesting things to come.

On Tuesday the 15th February Matilda, Annalisa and I were especially chosen to go to Extension Studies Centre. It is held in Balgowlah Boys High School in a suburb called Balgowlah that is in Sydney. It takes about ten minutes to get there from our school, Brookvale Public School.

Students from many different schools come to Extension Studies Centre to learn many things that we won't usually do. We go every Tuseday for the first two terms.

On the first week we played some games to know each other's names. There was a mystery game that we had to solve. Next we were separated into groups with different students from other schools. We had to try to build the tallest tower with newspaper and ONLY newspaper.

In the second week we learnt the 7 ways of knowing. In Creative Writing we made a place called Yum Yum Land where everything were made of food and sweets.
