5/6T with the rubbish collected from the Rainforest.

By Grace

On the 9th of March we had Clean Up Australia Day. The 1st thing we had to do was to put on our gloves then we had to go and spread  around the oval and pick up some rubish.

Adam had to walk around the oval and ask people if they could put the rubbish that they found and put it in the bin then Miss Guina said not to pick any glass on the ground. If we found glass, we had to call the teacher and they will come and  pick it up.

The last thing we did was to go and take of our gloves and wash our hands. We collected 2 bags of rubbish.

On Friday 9th of March, Kindy to Year 5 had Clean Up Australia Day. Clean Up Australia Day is the day that we clean up our country.

We cleaned up our school together. We had to wear gloves in case there was glass on the ground. Some people didn't have gloves so they didn't pick up any glass, we had to tell the teacher.

On the 9th of March, it was Clean Up Australia Day. The first thing we had to do was take little steps so we could find little pieces of rubbish since there was not many big pieces of rubbish.

As I was walking, I saw some dangerous things but I didn't want to pick it up because Miss Guina told us to be careful of what we might pick up. I   quite enjoy it but it is good to pick up rubbish so we could could have good smelling country.

As we finished picking up rubbish Miss Guina told us to go and wash our hands. It was fun because we found some cool things.
