On the 13th of December, Brookvale Public School had their 100 Reader Club Assembly. You would receive a book if you read 100 books. We would have a 100 Club Assembly every year in our hall. Before one of these assemblies, the children who have read 100 books would choose a book and receive it in the special assembly.

The books were presented to the children by their class teacher in order of the classes from Kindergarten to Year 5 and 6. The books were given to the children from Melanie, a local librarian. Not everyone received an award, but most people received a certificate for participating in sport.

It was a very exciting event, and it was excellent to see so many people read 100 books, and receive a book award.

On the 13th of December, Brookvale Public School had their 100 Club Assembly for children who read a 100 books or more. We had it after lunch in the hall.

A lady came form Warringah Mall Library to hand the kids their books and talked to us about how to use the library and if we need help to find stuff in the library we can ask Melanie and she will help us. I got a book called the Mystery Bay and a Netball sports award.

It was a great day!

Our special guest - Melanie.
